Write for others too...

When you write, you write not just for yourself, you write to help your readers. No matter how unworthy you think you are, you never know how others might still benefit from your help. So, stop beating yourself down and start writing that book.

What are the chances?

A person given a company (complete with customer base, ongoing business, goodwill, equipment, staff, building, stock, lock and barrel) to run, with 5 million dollars cash in the company's bank account. Will he 100% succeed? Hard to tell. It all depends on how he manage (his company and his 24 hours every day), right? Likewise, as long as we are alive and healthy, we have everything we need to succeed in the things we commit to. But that doesn't mean we will succeed. We have w hat it takes to succeed. But if we don't deploy what we have in the right way, the right results will not happen. Too often we choose to focus on complaining what we don't have and ended up overlooking at what we already have and then deploy them wisely to achieve whatever outcome we desire. It's a shame really. We fail not because we don't have the qualities inside us but because we choose not to use them.

Rocky the writer???

An authorpreneur is one who believes in the power of books. He/she believes that the books he/she read have the power to transform his/her life like nothing else can. He/she also believes that his/her writings can create an enormous impact on people's lives. And the first person their writings (whether published or unpublished) touch is themselves. Sylvester Stallone is one such person whose life had been changed forever by two book-related events. One, when he read a book of poems written by Edgar Allan Poe which prompted him to make the decision to be a writer. Two, when he wrote the Rocky story (over three days in one sitting) after he watched how a nobody-journey-man boxer knocked down Muhammad Ali unexpectedly. Although he did not win the match, the fact that he knocked down Muhammad Ali (even if it was only once) had ignited the fire in Stallone to write that script. No worries, just write...

If you want to write a book, just go ahead and do it. you might doubt if any publisher would want to publish it at all. You might worry if people would want to read it or not. And if they do, would they like it or even finish it at all. So, you ended up not writing it, procrastinating until dunno when. Maybe you should not think too much of yourself. What if your book could actually give hope to someone out there? What if someone's life would change forever after reading your  book. Even if that person is the only reader, as long as you don't write it. He will never get to read it. Sometimes, we all think too much about the things we should not worry about. Let the publisher decide. Let the readers read and find out if your book helps them or not. We just do what we can do now. What we can do now is not judge but write the damn book. That's it.
